Although the road to get here has no spectacular qualities, I still find it quite compelling every time I drive on it... due to it being well-engineered to qualify for a 100km/h speed limit despite being just 2-lanes throughout, plus the complete remoteness that comes with this ~200km road servicing a population of mere ~7000. Travelers of this road can often count on spotting more black bears foraging on the roadside, than actual vehicles. My personal record low is 3 cars spotted during a 2 hours stint , all going the other way.
Also, I needed to get here, in order to drive on my favorite road. That will come on the following day.

Once I arrived, I checked into the hotel and went for a walk. Here are the pictures.
Looking at Bear Cove, the BC Ferries terminal for the Inside Passage routes. It is supposed to be a spectacular trip, more of a cruise than a mere ferry ride. I hope I have a chance to do it sometime.
Considering that there are no paved main roads north of here, I would wager that Mustangs are not hot sellers in this area
